"Sad procoptodon is sad"

The upcoming patch (v229), that is currently scheduled for December 30th, will introduce a nice little friend for us: the Procoptodon. Since the ARK developers are currently working on the patch, and they like to tease us a little, Drake has released a preview of what the Procoptodon will look like: As you can see, there is a possibility for two people to ride the creature! This is also stated in the dossier when it was released, however we’re still glad to see that it is actually being implemented already. We can’t wait for the creature to be released tomorrow (hopefully) so we can test itRead More →

With the upcoming patch (v222) the Giganotosaurus will be added to the ARK: Survival Evolved game. Just a moment ago, Drake has posted a screenshot of the Giganotosaurus, which you can find below. It seems that the Giganotosaurus will be bigger than your average Rex, much like the size of the Dodorex. A little word of advice: start building your walls higher and possibly a roof, since there will be a massive tameable dino walking around ;D Rage Effect The Giganotosaurus will have a new “rage” effect that influences its state towards the players. This rage will be represented by a special “Rage” meter that fills upRead More →

Here is some information regarding the new DodoRex in ARK: Survival Evolved. It contains screenshots to show the actual size, info on its stats (so you know what you will need to kill it) and some general things like spawning it. Basic DodoRex info Currently the DodoRex seems to be untameable, like every other boss creature in ARK. It is however possible to kill it (with a team preferably) and get a special achievement on Steam. Be aware that it has a fire attack and a level 1 DodoRex already has 666,666 health! Furthermore, it is bigger than a Rex (see screenshots in this post)Read More →

With the upcoming ARK: Fear Evolved event getting closer and closer, more and more data is found in the devkit. Today we will show you some images of the upcoming DodoRex! More pictures will be added in the future, but for now you can already check how its colors are and even take a look at its fire-breath attack! We can’t wait to see the DodoRex in game, how about you? We can’t currently tell whether it will be tameable. The devkit shows torpor animations, which assumes it is, but at this point we cannot be 100% sure (but it looks promising). Besides the new dodorex,Read More →
