Patch v238 is getting closer and closer, and Drake has released even more previews of what is to come. According to the latest patch notes, we will be seeing a new event from March 25 to March 31. This event is called “Eggcellent Adventure” and will feature Eastern! Not only the creatures in ARK: Survival Evolved will get bionic / tek tier skins, but also the players! Today Jat released some screenshots of the armor they are currently working on for the tek tier. You can find these images below. We think they look awesome, and if they can be painted the same way as the bionic rex skin and Giganotosaurus, it would mean we get to see armors with all kinds of colored lights. Today another ARK mystery has been revealed with the cryptic description of “GIGAntic Expectations“. Not only has the latest devkit surprised us with a lot of new creature models, it also comes with new textures. A while back we covered the Direbear, Eel and Eurypterid, and these are now back and fully colorized (and even fur for the Direbear). Hopefully this means we will see them in one of the upcoming patches, as they are nearly finished at this point. A new devkit version was released today, which brings a lot of new creature previews with it. For now it are mostly models, but it at least gives an indication which creatures are currently worked on. Some of these have been announced a long time ago, for instance the Manta, but the dossier of the Titanosaur has only been recently released and also available in the devkit. It’s been on the patch notes list for a while, but patch v236 is finally getting there. A small dev kit update was released today, which means that we are able to show you some more upcoming creatures and items. It is not that much, as the dev kit update only includes a single version, but it is always nice to see what’s on the roadmap of the devs. Eurypterid The oceans surrounding the island are getting a new creature: the Eurypterid. It looks like an ocean-version of the scorpion and it will be used for getting special “black pearls” (at least, that is what the dossiers tells us).
